Background:
The Washington Projects began as Souljahz, a hip-hop gospel trio, comprised of siblings Je'kob, Joshua and Rachael Washington. After releasing The Fault of History in 2002, the band dropped off the map for awhile. In 2008, two of them - Je'kob and Rachael - launched a new band, the Washington Projects. Their debut album is the independently produced Commanders Of The Resistance.
