Background:

Vicky Cryer was founded in 2011 by Jason Hill (Louis XIV), whose frequent co-members include bassist Nick Fyffe and drummer Alex Carapetis (Nine Inch Nails), both of whom live outside the U.S., as well as drummer Dominic Howard (Muse), bassist Mark Stoermer (the Killers), keyboardist Jeff Kite (Casablancas), violinist Ray Suen (the Killers, Flaming Lips), and saxophonist Sam Gendel.

A five song EP was released in early 2012.
