Background:
Roger “Thunderhands” Gilbert is a Native American musician with over forty years of experience playing traditional music, jazz, Latin jazz, and blues.
His music incorporates Native American flute and percussion, as on his 2009 album Desert Spirits. “The seven songs on this CD,” he says, “are meant to activate the seven energy centers of the body and bring a sense of well-being to the soul.”
