Background:
Formed in 1983 and based in South Bay, Take Two is a duo featuring Bruce Robbins (originally from New Jersey) and Mark Hellman (Scottish-born and raised in Canada). They were formerly known as East Coast.
They play top ten hits from the fifties through today, including doo-wop, classic rock, and steamy ballads by candlelight. In early 2012, they landed a weekly Friday night residency at Cafe LaMaze in National City.
