Background:

Sunday Girl formed in Great Barrington, MA, before heading west and landing in Ocean Beach, circa 2008. The hard-rock quartet is not named after the same-named Blondie song. According to the band, one of its members was bemoaning the lack of a girlfriend and joked that, even if he couldn't find a full-time girl, he'd be happy with “a girl just on Sunday.”
