Synoposis

Inception: San Diego, 2012

Background:

The South Coast Chamber Choir is a professional choral ensemble founded the summer of 2012 by Music Director, Gary McKercher who also heads the San Diego Master Chorale. They specialize in 19th and 20th Century European Motets & Partsongs.

With an emphasis on a cappella choral repertoire of the 16th and 19th through 21st centuries, the SCCC hopes to bring new audiences to the art of choral singing in this region. The group is a member of Chorus America, the national organization representing professional, semi-professional, and volunteer choruses.
