Background:

Singer/songwriter Sassy Vee says her interest in the arts was inspired by her third grade elementary school creative writing teacher. “Mrs. Janet Mishler in Beaverton, Oregon, helped spark my love of music, poetry, and writing.”

She has performed at Mingle’s Lounge with Impulse Oakland, Bluesvilles with Khalil’s Band Oakland, a GTE Birthday Party Long Beach, the Black History Fair with Dirty Beat Music in Santa Ana, a New Years Doubletree event, the Las Vegas Juneteenth Fest, the Las Vegas Winchester Theatre, the KCEP 88.1 FM Music Convention, and more.
