Synoposis

Inception: San Diego, 2006

Current Status: Playing shows around town.

Background:

Mr Roarke's Tattoo is a new alternative rock band to San Diego. The songs they play are all original and portray several different styles of music. Classical piano, guitar, drum, and bass combine with emotionally
intense vocals to pack a powerful punch. Although MRT is new to the San Diego music scene, its members are not.

Anthony De La Cruz, formerly of Frank the Baptist, Stephen Astro and Jeremy Mundy from the Murderous Red Glare, and Mark Wollcott from Perseus the Crab came together to form MRT. Collectively, they have played at the Troubadour and the Roxy in Hollywood and the Casbah, Canes, Belly Up Tavern, and Del Mar Fair in San Diego.

In August of 2008 MRT released a three-song promo CD recorded at Westlake studios in L.A. and mixed by Christian Cummings at Capricorn Studios in San Diego. The newly released songs "Cash," "Little Black Book," and "Vacancy" are just a pinch of what you can expect live from Mr. Roarke's Tattoo.
