She was a regular on The Tennessee Ernie Ford Show, The Pinky Lee Show, and the L.A. program Hometown Jamboree. In the late ‘50s, she dated singer Tommy Sands.
Her other hit singles included “Young Romance,” “5 Points of a Star,” and “Don’t Look Back.” After moving to Oceanside in 1986, she ran Molly Bee’s nightclub and restaurant, where she performed regularly.
Bee died February 7, 2009, from complications related to a stroke.
