Background:

Mariachi Diamante de San Diego is a group of a dozen rotating musicians who play everything from Spanish classics to songs by mainstream artists like Elvis Presley, Prince, and even Charlie Daniels.

As of early 2010, they perform at El Torito Mexican Grill in Chula Vista from 10:30 a.m. to noon Sundays.
