Background:
Lenny Hands grew up in the suburbs of Albany, New York. After leaving his factory job for the military, he formed his first group -- Sacred Dynasty -- with fellow enlistees. After the members were scattered by military orders, Hands stayed in Japan, took up the turntables, and began working nights at the local enlisted club, where he earned the nickname Lenny Hands for his techniques on the 1s and 2s. No longer in the military, he's currently based in San Diego.
