Background:
King Hiss is an experimental noise/drone project created in San Diego, California. The project was formed in 2005 by Nicholas Constantino, formerly of the progressive post-hardcore act Persona Projector and the short-lived hardcore band Bravura Corvid. Exotic soundscapes are painted with near-brutal audio frequencies designed to evoke both a physical and emotional response from listeners. Since 2005, King Hiss has shared the stage with bands like Weak Sisters, Frozen Body, Riververb, and John Wiese as well as collaborated with various artists including members of Zsa Zsa Gabor, Wildildlife, Beware We Are the Werewolves of Belial, and others.
