Swiss-born composer Katharnia Rosenberger attended Berklee College of Music, Columbia University (where she studied under Tristan Murail), and the Royal Academy of Music in London(studying under Michael Finnissy). After serving as Composer in residence with the Orchestra de Nimes (2005) and Marseille’s Centre National de Creation Musicale (2006), she joined the faculty at UCSD in 2008.
A singer and pianist, Rosenberger has performed and recorded with the New York ensemble Wet Ink,
Her album Portrait was recorded in early 2011.
