Synoposis

Background:

Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Jessie Taylor began taking violin lessons at age nine. With years of classical training, she decided to take a more improvisational approach, which landed her recording gigs on various CDs.

Over the ensuing years, she has taught herself how to sing and play keyboard, guitar, mandolin, and cello. Her music and lyrics usually concern her relationship with God, her love for her husband, and life in general.

As of 2009, her backing musicians include Jenn Allen (bass), Derek Witt (drums), and Mario Armando (guitar).
