Background:
Inspired by Bollywood soundtracks and the Indian music of Pandit Ravi Shankar, Jazmin includes two Grammy award-nominated performers. Their concert album Live in Nehru Park was recorded in India, at a concert done with Shankar in 2005.
In 2007, drummer Jesse Charnow played on Anoushka Shankar’s Grammy-nominated album the Rise. Singer/guitarist Seth ‘Pandu’ Blumberg played on Ike Turner's 2007 Grammy-winning album Risin' With the Blues.
