Background:

The Hired Guns features Antonia Valdez, who has performed with Carlos Santana, Jan and Dean,
members of the Jimmy Dorsey, Harry James, and the Brian Setzer Orchestras. After forming a swing band using top musicians including Nick Scarmack (Al Jarreau touring band), she later branched out into the blues.

Simultaneously, she worked for other bands singing pop, rock, and Motown. She is producing, booking, writing, arranging, and hiring people to show up, hence the name the Hired Guns.
