Background:

Hello Sunshine was formed in 2009 by two Crash Encore members, front man Jon Bishop and keyboardist Bryan Stratman (though Stratman left Crash Encore in summer 2009). Also in the band are Jon Bishop’s sister Joy and her husband Jeffery Downer.

In 2010, the group licensed their song “Happy Endings” for the opening credits of romantic comedy My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend, starring Alyssa Milano and Beau Bridges.
