Current Status: She plays in the La Jolla Music Society's SummerFest and is the concertmaster and assistant first violinist of the San Diego Youth Symphony's Symphonic Orchestra. As an eighth grader at San Elijo Middle School (2007/2008) she plays flute with the school band.

Background:
Twelve years old in 2007, Hannah Cho began studying the violin at age three. The Carlsbad resident has already appeared at Carnegie Hall, after winning the 2006 International Hymn Competition. Born in South Korea, her father is a VIA Telecom engineer and her mother an accomplished piano teacher.
