Background:

The founders of the HagerRivera Project — Raul Rivera (guitar, vocals) and Joe Hager (drums) met in 2000 through an ad in the Reader. Originally called La Vagancia, their first EP in 2003, Cinco Rolas, was co-produced by Phil O’Keefe (Alien Ant Farm, Voodoo Glow Skulls). The band has no permanent singer, though Natascha Schalau frequently performs and records with them.
