Background:

Prog rockers Given Life formed in autumn 2005 when longtime friends Ryan Holmes, Mike Ellison, and Jeff Siebrand began writing in their Poway rehearsal studio. Aaron Sanders filled the bass player role until late 2006, when he was replaced by Rich DuCharme, who had worked with Ryan and Mike before in DRiVEPiN.

The current lineup is Ryan Holmes, Mike Ellison, Jeff Siebrand, and Rich DuCharme. Their first full-length cd These Days was recorded, mixed and mastered by Jeff Forrest of Double Time Studios in 2006. Their self-titled followup album was recorded by producer Fred Archambault (Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones, the Confession) and released in 2009.
