Background:

Growing up together in the small blue-collar beach towns of San Diego’s North County, the Gents were in the unique position to live in a world where trouble always had a sunset backdrop. They were influenced by all forms of rock, punk, reggae, world music, and blues.

Their debut album, self-released in 2009, includes songs that vary from happy yet haunting acoustic vibes, experiments in dub, and psychedelic journeys into space.
