Background:

Bassist Troy Azmoonn and his girlfriend-drummer Keely Hedges formed Don't Bore Nina in October 2008, with the stated intent to "create a fashion/rock-derived sound." The band also includes guitarist Leslie Richards, keyboardist Matt Bellucci, and singer Raul Stancov.

According to the band, "Don't Bore Nina blends delicate melodies with driving bass lines for an upbeat, electronic dance approach to rock music." Azmoonn, Bellucci, and Stancov also play with Zombie Surf Camp.

Inspired by new wave, rock, funk, and disco, the band's debut three-song EP was released in May 2009.
