“I try to cover all my favorite sax players, and there’s a ton of them,” says Dana Garrett, aka Dana G., who started playing music in San Diego in the early 1980s with Buddy Blue. “And singing songs with great sax hooks; ‘Careless Whisper’ (George Michael), ‘Baker St’. (Gerry Rafferty), ‘Turn the Page’ (Bob Segar), and the list goes on.”
Through the years, he has played with and fronted several bands, including Kid Tater’s Fabulous Booze Brothers.
