In 2007, the Blokes started as an Irish instrumental duo playing in local pubs, special events, Irish gift shops, and farmers' markets. They've grown from two members to seven member, and have expanded into Irish rock with vocals. They sprinkle in some reggae, classic rock, bluegrass, Cajun, blues, and rearrangements of classic Django Reinhardt , Ottmar Liebert, and Johnny Cash.
