The Bi-National Mambo Orchestra was founded by trumpet player Bill Caballero, who has also fronted bands in San Antonio and Seattle. The group frequently plays at Factorma de Sueqos, near the Otay Mesa border crossing. They've opened for Poncho Sanchez, Luiza Marquez, and Gilbert Castellanos.
