Synoposis

Background:

Musician Alan Urich has operated Alan's Music Center in La Mesa since 1954. While growing up in Bellflower and Long Beach in California, Urich the trombone drumming. After moving to Ocean Beach in San Diego in 1948 and playing in dance bands at local venues like the Hotel del Coronado and the Kona Kai Club, he opened his first area music store.
