THANKSGIVING

Here's hoping you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. If you were with family, hope it was peaceful with grudges, problems, all forgotten for this day of giving thanks. Spending the day with friends is my way for this holiday. Catching up, eating way too much, watching football, laughing and enjoying the friendships.

I want to express some special thanks to special people and to say to everyone I know that you are all special so please don't feel left out. I love all of my friends and am thankful for them every single day.

Thanks Deb A, for your driving ability! & much more Thanks Deb W, for visiting and sharing. & much more Thanks Barb V, for keeping up with me! & much more Thanks Deb R, for silliness! & much more Thanks Solveig & Dan for a special bond! & much more Thanks Dave, for the fun of describing your moustache! & much more Thanks to section 303 for a group that can hug & eat at the same time & much more

Thanks to all those I have the privelege of calling friends, for their friendship, camaradarie, sharing. Some I have known for over 30 years and 2 who still live in Michigan.

Thanks to the Pilgrims who sacrificed everything to escape oppression and start a new country.

Thanks to the "founding fathers", for framing a Declaration of Independence, a Constitution and the Bill of Rights, allowing us to live in a free and beautiful United States of America. In particular, the City of San Diego, which has tons of problems but my preference on this day is to look at the good and know this is home for a long time yet.

Thanks for the right to vote, our recent election was uplifting because so many people got out and voted. It was at the same time quite disappointing because so many people did NOT get out and vote. What a privelege to be able to cast a ballot, without guards at the polling places or monitors to control the process.

Thanks for a roof over my head, food in the fridge, a computer that allows me to blog, books to read and the ability to read them.

Thanks for the chance to watch sporting events, news programs, movies, etc. and yell at the coaches, managers, stars. Sometimes even throwing things!

Thanks for granting me the ability to take care of myself and to be a good friend to each and every one that I count as a friend.

Thanks for champagne!!!!!!
