Carla Miles is a writer who earned a BA degree in Business Administration and Leadership from Concordia University in Irvine.

Miles is able to understand people, priorities, deadlines & budgets, after having served a dozen years on a community HOA Board of Directors in Vista, CA. She studied and worked as a Child Development Educator in the San Diego region, including Vista and Carlsbad, for years.

Living in Vista since 1997, she is married, has one son and an assortment of friends from all walks of life and occupations.

Miles ran twice for city council positions, in 2010 and 2012. Both times ending up in last place, but it was never for a lack of speaking her mind at the time. ;)
