A raccoon family comes to live with an Ocean Beach family
I have no doubt that CIS investments and the landlord are refusing to admit it was Raccoons for liability reasons. After all the man is a lawyer... I personally saw the Raccoons last night. They were eating in the pine tree next to (and above) my apt and dropping their leftovers onto my ceiling..not to mention the occasional pinecone bomb that drops onto my skylight - These vermin are definitely there . The neighbors have complained. I have complained, and yet CIS and the landlord call us all liars and say 'it's the cat'. Where I'm from we have a name for these kinds of people. We call them 'slumlords'. What really gets me is that we seem to have no recourse. Landlord? no. CIS? no. The City? naaah, not really.. I thought basic living conditions were afforded to those who pay their rent and their taxes. How naive of me.— August 13, 2012 2:11 p.m.
