San Diego is known for its beautiful beaches, and our city has always been proud of its environmentally-friendly events and nonprofit organizations. One of the newest collectives making waves is Coastal SolThe leadership project is coordinating with I Love A Clean San Diego's Adopt a Beach program to share their pollution and waste statistics from the event with the community. Though Coastal Sol is a relatively new project, it is quickly gaining a loyal following of eco-conscious individuals and supporters. The Oceanside Pier cleanup will be the first event of many, and will be a fun, educational way of protecting our local ecosystems. It is taking place at **8:00 am on July 7th at the North side of the Oceanside Pier**. Check out their website [www.CoastalSol.org][1] for more information about the event and interesting facts about our beaches. [1]: http://www.coastalsol.org— June 19, 2013 9:45 a.m.
