What’s in a name? That which we call the band by any other name, it would still be - Blasting Idiots. The group came together circa 2004 looking to entertain and be entertained. It seems some, with a more solemn perspective, were a tad flummoxed by the name. So the group adopted the more affable, less mordant moniker, the Blast. The group, however you choose to address them, is a collection of former working musicians, too young to rest, too old to keep touring, and too deaf to know the difference. The group sports a corpulent collection of driving yet danceable rock songs from the vault to the Billboard, and beyond. What’s more, with both male and female vocals, the group is able to cover a teaming array of tunes which can be tailored for your special event. Rest assured, this band is one rustling, bustling, animated, energetic, zeppy, peppy, chirrupy crew.
