Established in 1889, Bernardo Winery is the oldest operating winery in Southern California. Nestled in the North County San Diego and family owned and operated since 1927, Bernardo Winery is an oasis of old world hospitality and relaxing tranquility with some estate vineyards, gardens and patios, rustic original buildings as well as modern winemaking equipment.
Handcrafted and producing wines with San Diego grapes for three generations, such as Syrah, Zinfandel, Albarino, Viognier, Petite Sirah and Sangiovese. The winery has a village of unique shops, artisan galleries, a cafe and coffee shop as well as a tasting room. Tasting room is open daily from 10-6 as well as some of the village shops. All of the shops are open Tuesday-Sunday.
The Bernardo Winery offers something to all of it’s visitors and families are welcome! No pets permitted on winery grounds, working service dogs only. No outside food or beverages.
