Rising from the Trenches with San Diego's Urban Corps
Such an inspiring piece. Can't help pulling hard for guys like Mack and Duran. Thanks for sharing their stories, Roody. These often go unnoticed.— December 30, 2011 11:12 a.m.
Walk on By
Lovely piece. As previously commented, makes my mind wander on a beautiful journey with emotions of all sorts.— December 30, 2011 10:49 a.m.
The Blood Orange Marmalade Blues--A Poem

Santa Catalina, the Isle in the Mist: Following the Footsteps of a Forgotten Poetess
Fabulous article, Roody! Being from the East, it would have never occurred to me to visit Catalina but from your vivid descriptions, it sounds like a place that would be right up my alley. Love the pictures too!— November 21, 2011 10:08 a.m.
Murals in the Barrio
Excellent piece, Roody! Very informative and the murals look spectacular. Will have to add it to my list of places to see. Thank you.— November 7, 2011 1:39 p.m.
Life on the Rim: The Surf Along the Pacific Ring of Fire
Excellent piece, Roody. I know a couple people that are terrified of earthquakes/tsunamis and choose where they live accordingly. Then again, one of them is the same person that refuses to ride roller coasters in the chance it may stall or have some sort of accident. *shakes head* Like you thought, the though/fear of it does not cross my mind at all. Harnessing the power of these geological events, now that would be really cool.— October 8, 2011 9:54 p.m.
Dirty Laundry: Sexual Assault Exposed
Really like your range and selection of topics as well as the aptitude with which you tackle them. You are a gifted writer.— August 25, 2011 7:20 a.m.
Love's Wang Dang Doodle
I'm with Rich. Enjoyed the read and will reference back to it from time to time. Thanks Roody!— August 17, 2011 8:31 a.m.
