Car dealer Marc Chase led swinging, violent lifestyle, suit claims
I have to say I expect more from the Reader and reporter Matt Potter. I have long been a fan of the Reader but this article is ridiculous. It is nothing more than regurgitating the "allegations" in a lawsuit. The Reader has a responsibility to report truth and separate it from innuendo. No interviews with anyone involved and no fact checking other than hiding behind "suit claims". I know the two principal people written about in the article and Mr. Potter may have wanted to interview Jacquie, if he could make it through the interview. Mr. Potter may have wanted to find out who the other children father(s) are. What ties to wealth do they have? This is like asking someone if they have ever been caught beating their spouse. Whatever way it is answered it appears there is guilt. This case was settled out of court. What if none of the allegations are true? In the United States, you are innocent until PROVEN guilty. Obviously, this does not matter to the Reader. They are happy to be the judge, jury and executioner in their kangaroo trial by press. Shame on you.— January 27, 2014 4:22 p.m.
