I sing, I act, and I dance, too. My family is very artistic: acting, singing, musical instruments... They don’t usually perform anymore. Most of them just stopped performing around my age. They used to do it in school, and they were really good at it, but they just stopped…I don’t know why. They’re really good naturally. It runs in my family.

I come from a big family. I have seven brothers and sisters. I’m the first — the oldest. The youngest will be two in May. Six girls and two boys. It’s fun, but it’s stressful sometimes. It’s interesting. I’m, like, the second mom. I don’t think my parents are going to have more [kids]. If anything, they’ll adopt. But I don’t think I want to have a big family. It makes me want to have, like, two kids. But it’ll be good…any way that it happens will be fine.

My mother’s temper. My mom’s pretty hot. My mom’s pretty hot! [Laughs.] She’s very stubborn and so am I. I will admit that. It’s not a very good trait, maybe, but I’m very stubborn. I definitely will get what I want because I will go after it. That’s definitely from my mother. I don’t know if I got anything from my dad. I got my dad’s eyes, for sure. I got his height because he’s nice and short, like me.

It’s actually the negative stuff I’ve noticed, like jealousy, anger, and resentment toward other people and kind of playing that victim role. At the same time, I’m noticing some things within myself that I’ve seen from my mom in particular. It’s funny talking to her about it because I feel like I can see that in her, and I can look at myself objectively. And for her, I think I can help her with that. I don’t see how she can come to that conclusion on her own, seeing how you create your reality and it isn’t just about being a victim — seeing how you play a role in these bad things that are happening as much as other people do. It’s interesting to see how we’re very similar.

Well, I’m Irish and Italian, so everyone jokes around about my temper. My sign is a Leo, and I don’t really get into all that, but I do think it’s funny because I am somewhat stereotypical in that way. I would definitely say I’m a very chill person, very cordial, and easy to get along with. But if you make me mad or I have to go into mama-bear mode to defend one of my friends, I see red and I literally lose it. But thankfully my dad’s really awesome and my mom’s really Jesus crazy. It goes toward the dad’s side, thank God.

Loyalty. I believe in family loyalty very strongly. I brought my kids up that way. When they were really little kids, I sat them down and I said, “If your brothers or sisters get in trouble, stick up for them. I don’t care if they’re right or wrong. You always stick up for them, and then you come home and tell me. If they’re wrong, I’ll handle it. But you always stick up for your family, no matter what.” And they always have.
