San Diego’s beaches and coastline enhance our quality of life and generate huge revenues through tourism and property taxes. But our coastline is eroding and our beaches are shrinking. In this talk, MiraCosta College Professor of Geology and Oceanography, Keith Meldahl, will tell the geologic story of how our coast and beaches came to be, and what the future may hold.
