Orfila Vineyards showcases local Artisans at festival
Orfila Vineyards has been hand-crafting award-winning wine since 1993 and on May 12, 2013, we invite many other local San Diego based artisans to show off their craft to the San Diego public. We have cordially invited over 20 local artisans including jewelry makers, wood turners, painters, ceramic and mosaic artists, small batch jam, honey and hot sauce vendors and many more to set up shop and show what they can do. Also on site during this fun and exciting afternoon, will be 10 of San Diego’s best Gourmet Food Trucks, a selection of local Breweries and 2 of the most stunning musicians and bands you will find in the area.
This event, taking place on Mother’s Day after the Amgen Tour of California Bike Race rides past the winery, is one of many events the winery has put together. Food Truck Fridays, started in February 2013, has taken off and become a hotspot for San Diego foodies to come and taste the amazing mobile food of the County while also sipping Orfila’s award-winning wines.
“The Goods: An Artisan Festival” kicks off at 3:00pm on the winery grounds. Offsite parking and free shuttle service will be available at San Pasqual High School. Tickets are available for purchase through the winery website, Tasting Rooms or by phone. Tickets start at $10 and include admission to the event and 8 wine and/or beer tastings of their choice.
