Originally based in southern New Jersey, the members of punk trio Just in Case are currently based in Clairemont. Their self-titled debut full-length was released in 2008.

As of 2012, the band included Adam Bucciarelli (lead guitar, vocals), Vic LaManna (bass), and Tower XVI drummer Brian Rash. Their 2013 Better Late Than Never EP was first recorded in summer 2012 at Studio West in San Diego, before being mastered and finalized the following year by mastering engineer Joe Goodwin at local Capricorn Studios. Its first single was “News To Me.”

A new album was recorded in 2015, Prior Knowledge, with the band now a duo featuring Brian Rash and Adam Bucciarelli. Released in September 2016 and preceded by a single for “Profiles,” the album was engineered and produced by Roland Ware at Rdub Recordings, mixed by Jeff Forrest at Doubletime Studios, and mastered by Joe Goodwin at Bellwether Mastering.

A new single dropped in Autumn 2022 for their track “Delayed Reaction,” with a lyric video available as well. "'Delayed Reaction' is a stand alone single," says Adam Bucciarelli. "It speaks to dealing with a past regret that had unforeseen consequences. It was written, arranged, recorded, and produced by us. It's a slower, more deliberate song in our opinion."
